Since our mouth guards are custom-made, we must take impressions of the patient’s teeth and forward the model to a dental laboratory. Once the device is ready, the patient can return for a follow-up visit to pick it up. A patient should expect their new mouth guard to last for about two to three years.
Blooming Family also offers protective night guards for the treatment of bruxism. This is a condition in which a person will clench and grind their teeth while they are asleep. If left untreated, the problem can lead to worn-down tooth enamel, jaw pain, tooth fractures, headaches and more. A custom-made night guard can prevent these issues and help protect the patient’s teeth.
